About Introduction to Architecture

I really enjoyed the Art Nouveau & Deco course! It was lovely to have such a well-structured, short course (which you can revisit at your own pace – ideal!) that still covers so much ground. I also found the tutor, Barry, very pleasant. He’s knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the way he presents the material makes it easy to take in and remember. I’ve also taken his advice to heart: I’ve bought the two books he mentioned and added several museums to my 'to-do' list.

This was my first course at KLU, but I’ve already got more on my wish list and I’ve actually signed up for another course as well!

Just an e-mail to let you know that I have really enjoyed the courses I have attended with you so far. Both lecturers were incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Introduction to Art History was a good refresher, despite my propaedeutic degree in Art History. And with Pure Beauty of Scandinavia, the nice thing was that you could see Yvonne herself really enjoying the lessons and the subject.

About KLU

Very good course. It paints a necessary picture to put art in context, making you understand what you see. Looking at art is then not just an emotional reaction, but also an intellectual exercise. The course contains exactly the information you expect to encounter in a museum, but which - in my experience - is routinely missing. I will be signing up for a new course soon.
